Among the forty prints Andy Gotts is hanging at El Encanto in Santa Barbara are several of his own contact sheets, the working proofs a photographer uses to pick one frame out of a session, shown here as finished work with the red and yellow grease-pencil marks still on them.

THE PLAYLIST opens on 27 August 2026 and runs to 30 November. It is Andy’s first exhibition in California, and the prints are in the style he is known for, shot in extreme close-up and printed in high-contrast black and white.
