Neil Blair, the London literary agent who represents J.K. Rowling, has launched a new independent international publisher devoted in large part to Jewish and Israeli writers. The company, High Line Publishing Studio, opens with offices in New York and London and with Oliver Malcolm, a publishing veteran of more than twenty years in UK trade publishing, as chief executive.

Blair is a familiar name to anyone who follows the book trade. He founded The Blair Partnership in 2011, with Rowling as a key client, and has spent his career on the agency side of the business. High Line marks his move into publishing itself, as reported by Publishers Weekly and The Bookseller.
